DANNY DURKEE

PERRYVILLE -- Danny C. Durkee, 27, of Perryville died Thursday, Feb. 26, 1998, in Perryville.

He was born Jan. 26, 1971, in Cape Girardeau, son of Danny Joe and Shirley Mae Boxdorfer Durkee.

Durkee was employed at Perry Oaks Nursing Home. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his father of Alton, Ill.; his mother and stepfather, Shirley and Leroy Schumer of Perryville; a brother, Jeffrey Gelach of St. Louis; a sister, Robin Parmer of Perryville; maternal grandmother, Rita Boxdorfer of Perryville; and paternal grandmother, Pearl Durkee of Chester, Ill.

He was preceded in death by both grandfathers.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home Sunday from 4-9 p.m., and Monday from 6:30-8:30 a.m.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Church, with the Rev. Donald Loesch officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
