Danny Oneal Collier, 74, of Shelbina, Missouri, formerly of Scott City, died Sunday, June 1, 2014, at Advance Nursing Center in Advance, Missouri.
He was born July 17, 1939, in Ancell (Scott City), to Floyd Alfred and Goldia B. Brant Collier.
Danny was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include a son, Daren (Patti) Collier of Pocahontas; special friend, Juanita Ives of Shelbina; three brothers, Carmon (Jean) Collier of Scott City, Houston (Mary) Collier of Iuka, Kansas, and Leanis (June) Collier of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Alrhea Henderson of Olive Branch, Illinois; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Wendy Leigh; two sons, Eldon and Kevin; and a brother, Ronald.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.
A graveside service will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Lightner Cemetery, with the Rev. Charles Lance officiating.
