SIKESTON -- Daniel Sugg, 79, of Sikeston, died Monday, Nov. 15, 1993, at his home. He was born Dec. 10, 1913, in Sidney, Ark., son of William and Rita Ann Whitener Sugg. He and Gladys Mae Marlin were married Jan. 7, 1936, at Cave City, Ark. She died Jan. 19, 1991...

SIKESTON -- Daniel Sugg, 79, of Sikeston, died Monday, Nov. 15, 1993, at his home.

He was born Dec. 10, 1913, in Sidney, Ark., son of William and Rita Ann Whitener Sugg. He and Gladys Mae Marlin were married Jan. 7, 1936, at Cave City, Ark. She died Jan. 19, 1991.

Sugg was self-employed at Sugg Plumbing.

Survivors include two sons, Leon Sugg of Vanduser, Roy Sugg of Sikeston; two daughters, Tressie Goetz of Jeffersonville, Ind., Verblene Lovelace of Whitehall, Ark.; a brother, Silas Sugg of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Daisy Sugg of Batesville, Ark.; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and four sisters.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel here. The Revs. Billie Butler and James Beaird will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
