Daniel Pennington

Daniel Paul Pennington, 70, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, April 5, 2024, at his home.

He was born Feb. 16, 1954, in Marble Hill to Harold Eugene and Helen Laverne Andrews Pennington. He and Jean Marie Frazier were married Aug. 17, 1986, in Cape Girardeau. She preceded him in death Sept. 11, 2015.

He received a degree from Southeast Missouri State University.

Once an avid tennis player, he was a big fan of fishing and the outdoors. He had a great sense of humor and loved sharing his testimony of God’s good news.

Survivors include a son, Daniel James (Amanda) Pennington of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Amber Dawn (Anthony) Cervantes of Cape Girardeau; and two grandchildren, Gracelyn and Joanna.

He was also preceded in death by his parents.

A private service will be held at a later date.
