OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Dallzey Dillman, 88, of Olive Branch died Sunday, June 16, 2002, at Union County Hospital in Anna, Ill.
She was born Oct. 21, 1913, in Alexander County, Ill., daughter of Eli and Mary Lee Phyler Dunn. She and Jonah Maze were married in 1931. He died in 1934. She and Roy Dillman were married Feb. 17, 1936. He died Aug. 4, 1985.
Dillman farmed with her husband. They owned and operated a grocery store and sawmill in Tamms, Ill., and were caretakers at Horseshoe Lake. She had also been a librarian at Dodge Library. She was a member of Alexander Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Beatrice Sronce of Carbondale, Ill.; a son, Louis Maze of Olive Branch; a stepson, Calvin Dillman of Ullin, Ill.; a brother, Milford Dunn of Memphis, Tenn.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, a stepson, and two sisters.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with David Maze officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery at Dongola, Ill.
