POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Dale Williams, son of the late Elmer Lee and Mary Elizabeth Adkins Williams, was born Sept. 13, 1956, in Gideon, Missouri, and departed this life Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center at the age of 62.
On May 21, 1981, he was united in marriage to Tammy Watkins in St. Louis. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include four sons, Justin Williams and Jake Williams of Chaffee, Missouri, Jessy Williams of Delta and Jerett Williams of Scott City; three daughters, Stasha Cook of Chaffee and Kasie Williams and Chelsy Williams, both of Delta; four brothers, Bobby Williams of St. Charles, Missouri, Tommy Williams of Perryville, Missouri, Pete Williams of Campbell, Missouri, and Tony Williams of Malden, Missouri; and 11 grandchildren.
Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Friday at Illmo Baptist Church in Scott City.
