PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Dale A. Head, 68, of Perryville died Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, in Winfield, Mo.
He was born Jan. 25, 1934, in Yount, Mo., son of late Charles McKinley and Pearl Jewel Johnson Head.
He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, a member of River Hills Eagles Lodge 4034 and AmVets Post 94.
Survivors include two sons. David Head of Winfield and Russel Head of Topeka, Kan.; four daughters, Kathy Burkhart, Darla Atchison, Diane and Vicki Michael, all of St. Charles, Mo.
Also surviving are two brothers, Victor Head of Farmington, Mo., and Leman Head of Perryville; four sisters, Glenda Stout of Florida, Lenora Porter of Elsberry, Mo., Ada Winkler of Hillsboro, Mo., and Patsy Gentry of Nebraska; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, a sister and a brother.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today or from 6:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. Tuesday at Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Alan Martin officiating. Burial will be in Whitewater Christian Cemetery.
