DEXTER -- Daisy Irene Lacy, 83, of Sweet Springs, died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 1995, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
She was born Jan. 4, 1912, in Brownwood, daughter of John and Emma Simmons Roper. She and Daniel M. Lacy were married Aug. 2, 1929, in Bloomfield. He died March 26, 1980.
Lacy lived in Southeast Missouri from 1927 until moving to Sweet Springs in 1980. She attended the General Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, John Lacy of Mountain Grove, Daniel Lacy of Sweet Springs; a daughter, Annie Hutto of Blytheville, Ark.; 19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ronnie Ledbetter officiating. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery.
