DEXTER -- Daisy M. Honeycutt, 72, of Dexter died Monday, Nov. 24, 1997, at her home.
She was born Jan. 22, 1925, at Cedar Creek, daughter of Fred and Cordia Macom Sommers. She and O. Hubert Honeycutt were married Dec. 7, 1946, in Morrillton, Ark. He died Sept. 26, 1992.
Honeycutt had lived in the Dexter area since 1955, and worked at C&L Orchard many years. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Audistie Honeycutt of Dexter; a son, Harrel Honeycutt of Dexter; two brothers, Ben Sommers of Jerusalem, Ark., Levi Sommers of Bloomfield; five sisters, Velma Finto of Belton, Texas, Lorene Hannel and Josephine Sommers of Bloomfield, Rose Wallace of Kansas City, Kan., Helen Greer of Overland Park, Kan.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Jearl Clark officiating. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery.
