SIKESTON -- Dago Maddox, 79, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 1992, at his home.
He was born Nov. 5, 1912, at Dorena, son of John James and Hattie Pearl King Maddox.
Maddox was a retired farmer, and member of Wesley United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include a son, David Maddox of Sikeston; two stepdaughters, Kay Marsh of Pensacola, Fla., Jacque Walls of Chino, Calif., and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a stepson.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Charles E. Buck will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery at Charleston.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
