ORAN -- Curtis Lee Halford, 88, of Waynesville, formerly of Oran, died Sunday, April 11, 1993, at Waynesville Nursing Center.

He was born July 30, 1904, in Clifton, Tenn., son of Andrew W. and Alma Jane Richardson Halford.

Halford was self-employed in shoe sales and repair.

Survivors include two daughters, Rotha Gibson of Richland, Shirley Hobbs of Hot Springs, Ark.; eight grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. The Rev. John Gregory will officiate, with burial in New Morley Cemetery at Morley.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today. A Masonic service will be held at 7.
