Cuba H. Sitzes, 93, 1020 Kingsway Drive, died Friday, Aug. 16, 1991, at her home. She was born April 11, 1898, at Alto Pass, Ill., daughter of George W. and California Pender Pind. On July 9, 1917, she married Clarence L. Sitzes in Jackson. He preceded her in death May 7, 1989...

Cuba H. Sitzes, 93, 1020 Kingsway Drive, died Friday, Aug. 16, 1991, at her home.

She was born April 11, 1898, at Alto Pass, Ill., daughter of George W. and California Pender Pind.

On July 9, 1917, she married Clarence L. Sitzes in Jackson. He preceded her in death May 7, 1989.

She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Cuba H. Willis, of Cape Girardeau; seven grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

One son, Wylie Sitzes, four brothers, one sister, and two grandsons preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be held today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. S.S. Borum will officiate. Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Friends may call today after 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
