MOREHOUSE, Mo. -- Coy May "Connie" Summers, 67, of Morehouse died Monday, May 28, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo. MOREHOUSE, Mo. -- Coy May "Connie" Summers, 67, of Morehouse died Monday, May 28, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.

She was born Oct. 7, 1933, in Lamar, Ark., daughter of Sam and Lois Sparks Standridge. She and Jimmie Lee Summers were married Dec. 23, 1953, in Holly Springs, Miss.

Summers was a nurse aide at Missouri Delta Medical Center 27 years.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Linda Johnson of East Prairie, Mo., Brenda Bone of Dewy Rose, Ga., Pamela Dodds of Sikeston; five brothers, Samuel Standridge of Fruitland, Mo., Dwayne Standridge of Morehouse, Edward Standridge of Bloomfield, Mo., Earl "Bill" Standridge of Sikeston and Kenneth Standridge of Wappapello, Mo.

Also surviving are four sisters, Blanche Hardin of Dardanelle, Ark., Marie Waltrip of Tulsa, Okla., Wilma Hasler of Fruitland, Wanda Walters of Sikeston; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Joe King officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
