UNIONTOWN -- Corrine Anne Balsman, 68, of Uniontown, died Tuesday, May 10, 1994, at Bethesda General Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born Nov. 9, 1925, at Biehle, daughter of Frank and Albertine Ruch Blechle. She and Edgar Leo Balsman were married Aug. 16, 1947.
Balsman was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality at Apple Creek, and Western Catholic Union.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Stan Balsman of Uniontown; five daughters, Carol Bindbeutel and Brenda Miller of St. Charles, Diane Balsman of Overland, Jan Heise of Perryville, Sheila Kirn of Friedheim; a brother, Clarence Blechle of St. Louis; a sister, Edna Geringer of Biehle, and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter and three brothers.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 3-9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30-10 a.m. The parish wake is at 7:30 tonight.
Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Church, with the Revs. James Unterreiner and John Bolderson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
