ALTENBURG, Mo. -- Cornelius A. Boettcher, 98, of Altenburg died Wednesday, March 26, 2014, in Pevely, Mo.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 8:15 a.m. Saturday at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg, with the Rev. Steven Dressler officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military graveside honors provided by American Legion Post 133 and Delta Team.
