Ross Earl "Corky" Adams, 56, of Scott City died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at his home.
He was born Oct. 24, 1956, in Bonne Terre, Mo., to Vernon Earl and Florence Naomi Surina Adams.
Corky was a self-employed transportation broker.
Survivors include his mother of High Ridge, Mo.; four brothers, Thomas Bradley of Jackson, Gordon Bradley Sr. and John Adams of Scott City, Mark Adams of St. Louis; four sisters, Janet Bradley Roney of Scott City, Terry Cline of High Ridge, Serena Dover of Springfield, Mo., and Becky Adams Fry of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Lightner Memorial Cemetery at Scott City.
