CORENE HOFFMAN

ORAN -- Service for Corene Hoffman will be held at 10 a.m. today at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church at Oran, with Rev. Norman D. Varone officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Hoffman, 85 years old, of Perryville, died Friday, Jan. 11, 1991, at the Cape Girardeau Nursing Center.

She was born in Oran on Jan. 22, 1905, daughter of Andrew and Theresie Menz Pobst Hoffman.

On June 30, 1930, she married Harlie Helderman of Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death. She married Burnell Hoffman of Perryville on Nov. 3, 1951. He preceded her in death Dec. 16, 1980.

Survivors include two brothers, Frank Pobst of Chaffee and Louis Pobst of Oran; sisters, Verneda Hahn of Oran and Martha Wagner of Jackson.
