MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Cora Woodfin, 84, of Marble Hill died Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at Mae Hill Manor in Farmington, Mo. She was born July 22, 1916, at Elvins, Mo., daughter of Peter Marshall and Martha Jane Benton Sitzes. She and Omer Woodfin were married Sept. 11, 1948, at Clayton, Mo. He died April 11, 1978...

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Cora Woodfin, 84, of Marble Hill died Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at Mae Hill Manor in Farmington, Mo.

She was born July 22, 1916, at Elvins, Mo., daughter of Peter Marshall and Martha Jane Benton Sitzes. She and Omer Woodfin were married Sept. 11, 1948, at Clayton, Mo. He died April 11, 1978.

Woodfin attended Hahn Chapel General Baptist Church and was a member at First Baptist Church of Park Hills, Mo. She had lived here since 1975.

Survivors include a sister, Doris Hughey of Salinas, Calif.; a stepgrandson and a stepgranddaughter.

Friends may call at Hutchings Funeral Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Gerald Huff officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery.
