CORA E. GESKE

SIKESTON -- Cora E. Geske, 92, of Sells Rest Home in Matthews, formerly of Sikeston, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 1995, at Sells Rest Home.

She was born Dec. 2, 1902, in Fruit Station, Ill., daughter of Charles and Amelia Louise Freidhoff Gruen.

She married Fred Geske Feb. 4, 1925, at Morehouse. He preceded her in death May 6, 1961.

She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the Lutheran Missionary League and Altars Guild. She was a former member of the Canalou Extension Club and Sikeston Federated Women's Club.

Survivors include a son, Dale Geske of Matthews; a daughter, Doris Koch of Sikeston; a brother, Nelson Gruen of Matthews; five grandchildlren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

Service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Concordia Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert Kriete officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
