Funeral for Cora Azalea Brennan of Creve Coeur will be held at 2 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. John Gregory will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the chapel from noon to 2 p.m.
Brennan, 73, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 1998, at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur.
She was born Nov. 13, 1924, at Sikeston, daughter of James Thomas and Louisa Belle Horton Edwards. She and Carroll T. Boyd were married Sept. 11, 1943. He died Sept. 3, 1944, while serving in World War II. She later married John A. Brennan July 30, 1948, at Sikeston. He died Sept. 27, 1987.
Brennan was a graduate of Sikeston High School. She lived in Cape Girardeau and moved to St. Louis in 1965. She had been a member of Entre Nous Club in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include two sons, C. Trenton Boyd of Columbia and John Brennan III of Newark, Del.; and a grandchild.
