CONWAY STARK

PERRYVILLE -- Conway E. Stark, 70, of Perryville, died Tuesday, April 9, 1996, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Oct. 9, 1925, son of Edgar and Catherine Braun Stark. He and Alice J. Yount were married May 5, 1951.

Stark was a former police judge in Perryville, past director of Perryville Country Club, and a retired carpentry instructor at Mingo Job Corps Center in Puxico.

He was a member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 2030, American Legion Post 133 and SEMO Senior Golf Association.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Kenneth and Alan Stark of Perryville; a daughter, Janice Hoffman of Dexter; a brother, Anton "Tony" Stark of Perryville; two sisters, Leona Sauer and Dellora Wibbenmeyer of Perryville; six grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 3-9 p.m. today, and Friday after 6:30 a.m. The parish wake is at 7 tonight.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Alphonse Hoernig officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
