ANNA, Ill. -- Collin W. Brown, 86, of Anna died Friday, Sept. 16, 2005, at his home.
He was born May 19, 1919, in Anna, son of Henry and Elizabeth Messamore Brown. He and Janet Knight were married Sept. 24, 1938, in Jackson, Mo. She died April 20, 1994.
Brown was owner and operator of the Four Seasons for many years. He was a veteran and member of VFW Post 3455 and the American Legion.
Survivors include a daughter, Sue Fuller of Indianapolis, Ind.; two sisters, Ludine Copeland of Jonesboro, Ill., Margaret Cain of Tamms, Ill.; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Casper Cemetery, with military rites by VFW Post 3455.
