Adams, 71, died Tuesday, May 7, 1996, at Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston.

He was born March 5, 1925, at Kennett, son of Luthur and Lassie Cunningham Adams.

Survivors include an uncle, J.D. Cunningham of Kennett, and an aunt, Bessie Stafford of Oklahoma City, Okla.
