Funeral for Clyde L. Trickey Sr. of Cape Girardeau will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. James Caughlan will officiate. Burial will be in St. James Evangelical Church Cemetery at Tilsit.
Trickey, 65, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born June 19, 1933, near Neelys Landing, son of John William and Laura Medlock Trickey. He and Norma B. Kaufmann were married June 30, 1956, in Cape Girardeau.
Trickey had been an extruder operator at Atlas Plastics, now Spartech Plastics, since 1965. He served in the U.S. Army.
He had lived in Cape Girardeau since the early 1950s.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Clyde L. Trickey Jr. of Round Rock, Texas, Dennis L. Trickey of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Donna Trickey of Round Rock; a brother, Archie Trickey of Indianapolis, Ind.; a sister, Agnes Karraker of St. Charles; and two grandchildren.
A sister preceded him in death.
