FENTON -- Clyde Kenneth Long Sr., 64, of Fenton died Saturday, Aug. 24, 1996, at his home following a lengthy illness.
He was born Dec. 11, 1931, in Marquand, the son of Arch and Zelma Lee Killian Long.
Long worked for the Laclede Gas Co. in St. Louis and was a former vice president of the Oil, Chemical and Atomic Local.
Survivors include a son, Clyde K. Long Jr. of Centerville, Ohio; two daughters, Cynthia A. Coriano of Imperial and Denise L. Carter of Arnold; two brothers, Harold Long of Camdenton and David Long of Marquand; three sisters, Alene Davenport of Alamogordo, N.M., Bernice Crites of Marble Hill and Glenda Grindstaff of Farmington; and five grandchildren.
Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. today at the Kutis Funeral Home in Afton and from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bud Statler officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery near Marquand.
