PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Clyde Hudson, 91, of Perryville died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006, at Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau. He was born May 16, 1914, at Silver Lake, Mo., son of Prince C. and Ida M. Reddick Hudson. He and Emma Irene Coffelt were married Oct. 20, 1941...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Clyde Hudson, 91, of Perryville died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006, at Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born May 16, 1914, at Silver Lake, Mo., son of Prince C. and Ida M. Reddick Hudson. He and Emma Irene Coffelt were married Oct. 20, 1941.

Hudson was a retired electrician and lineman. He was a member of VFW Post 4282 and American Legion Post 133.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Glenda Quinn of Cape Girardeau; three sons, Clyde Hudson of Cincinnati, Ohio, Prince Hudson of Perryville, Roger Hudson of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Viola Coffelt of Perryville, Edna Seeman of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a brother, Prince Hudson Jr. of Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30 a.m. until time of service. A VFW wake will be held at 6:30 tonight.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery with military graveside rites by American Legion Post 133.
