SIKESTON -- Clyde G. Riley, 78, of Sikeston, died Friday, Nov. 5, 1993.
He was born Sept. 13, 1915, at Advance, son of Jefferson Davis Riley and Mary Ollie Harris Riley.
He married Maxine Thompson on Oct. 19, 1935. She survives.
Riley was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Oran. He was a veteran of the Army during World War II. He was a member of VFW Post 5368 at Morley, the Sikeston American Legion, Morley Masonic Lodge, and Local 181 Pipe Fitters. He was a retired pipe line construction worker.
Survivors include a brother, Claude Riley, of Clinton, South Carolina; a sister, Juanita Vogel of Oran, and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Oran, with the Rev. Jerry Harris officiating, assisted by the Rev. John Gregory. Interment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today. A Masonic service will be held at the funeral home at 7 p.m. today. A grave-side service will be presented by the Morley VFW Monday.
