CHAFFEE -- Clyde Hayden Duncan, 80, of Chaffee died Wednesday, May 14, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born April 6, 1917, in Bethesda, Ark., son of William Henry and Ann Thompson Duncan. He and Ruby L. Mason were married Dec. 10, 1937.
Duncan worked for Frisco Railroad 36 years, retiring as an engineer. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Chaffee, and Chickasawba Masonic Lodge 134 in Blytheville, Ark.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mary Ann Kagle of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, John Duncan of Blytheville, Sterling and Samuel Duncan of Chaffee; two grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Revs. William Marshall and Paul Wood officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
