CLYDE BREWER

PERRYVILLE -- Clyde Brewer, 93, of Perryville died Saturday, May 6, 2000, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born June 24, 1906, in Perry County, son of Aloysius Brewer and Hattie Krater Brewer.

He and Elva Moore were married June 17, 1931, at Perryville. She died Oct. 5, 1994.

Brewer retired from International Shoe Co. He was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer.

Survivors include a daughter, Margie Mattingly of Perryville; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, a daughter, three sisters and three brothers.

Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. Monday and again from 6:30-9:40 a.m. Tuesday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish wake will be at 7 p.m. Monday. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Christ the Savior Church, with the Rev. Felipe Martinez will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
