ADVANCE -- Clyde A. Burchett, 63, of St. Louis, died Saturday, July 27, 1991, in Dallas, Texas. She was born Feb. 19, 1928, at Kinder, son of Charles and Ella Arnold Burchett. He and Wilma DePriest were married Feb. 6, 1951, in Pocahontas, Ark. Burchett was a member of Gardenville Masonic Lodge 655 AF&AM in St. Louis, and an Assembly of God Church in St. Louis. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II...

ADVANCE -- Clyde A. Burchett, 63, of St. Louis, died Saturday, July 27, 1991, in Dallas, Texas.

She was born Feb. 19, 1928, at Kinder, son of Charles and Ella Arnold Burchett. He and Wilma DePriest were married Feb. 6, 1951, in Pocahontas, Ark.

Burchett was a member of Gardenville Masonic Lodge 655 AF&AM in St. Louis, and an Assembly of God Church in St. Louis. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Rick Burchett of Dallas, Phillip Burchett of Arnold, Victor Burchett of Maplewood; a daughter, Sondra Howdeshell of Kirkland, Wash.; his mother, Ella Bennett of Advance; three brothers, Cletus Burchett of Zalma, Delbert Bennett of Slidell, La., Roy Bennett of Versailles, and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Michael Scott will officiate, with burial in Bollinger County Memorial Park at Marble Hill.
