CLOLA O'MARA

Clola Nelson O'Mara, 92, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Aug. 14, 1999, at the home of her daughter in Burfordville.

She was born Sept. 23, 1906, to William and Mary Elizabeth Busby Dewrock in Egypt Mills. She was married to Charles Roscoe Nelson in February 1925 in Cape Girardeau. He died in 1961. She married William O'Mara in 1965. He died in 1972.

She was a member of the General Baptist Church in Jackson.

O'Mara is survived by a son, Bob Nelson of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Charlotte Wildman of Cape Girardeau, Betty Mayberry of Burfordville and Wanda Nelson of Chaffee; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, daughter, stepson and five brothers.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel.

The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Luther Rhodes officiating. The burial will follow at the Lorimier Cemetery.
