EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral for Clinton Lee Williams of East Prairie will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Thomas Snavely will officiate. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
Williams, 42, died Thursday, May 11, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Nov. 18, 1957, at Wyatt, son of Cecil Lee and Bernice Myers Williams. He and Pat Moreland were married Feb. 14, 1983.
Williams had lived in East Prairie two years. He was a truck driver and attended the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Clinton Williams Jr. of East Prairie, Russell Borders of Wickliffe, Ky., Mike Borders of Charleston; a daughter, Melissa Hall of Wickliffe; his mother of Charleston; a brother, Christopher Williams of Bardwell, Ky.; two sisters, Sherry Plunk of Sikeston, Cecelia Williams of Charleston; five grandchildren; and a stepgranddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
