DEXTER -- Clifford Samuel Seachrist Sr., 57, of Dexter, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 1996, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 25, 1938, in Boydsville, Ark., son of Samuel D. and Audrey Seachrist. He and Patsy Elfreda Matthews were married Dec. 12, 1964, in St. Louis.
Seachrist moved to Dexter 15 years ago from Rector, Ark.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Sam Jr. and Daniel Seachrist of Dexter; four daughters, Mary Robbins of Cahokia, Ill., Rebecca Seachrist and Gwendolynn Sanders of Dexter, Crystal Eggers of Perryville; six brothers, Harold Seachrist of Corning, Ark., Sammy Seachrist of Lexington, Tenn., Cecil, Ernie, Steven and David Seachrist, addresses unknown; four sisters, Loretta Smith of Corning, Betty Catt of Arnold, Rosie Craver of Kansas, Virginia Seachrist of Lexington, and six grandchildren.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 4-9 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bob Wiggins officiating. Burial will be in Essex Cemetery at Essex.
