Funeral service for Cletus C. Smith of Cape Girardeau will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Del McKinney will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Smith, 78, died Wednesday, April 20, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Feb. 28, 1916, in Carbondale, Ill., son of Charles C. and Martha Ann Belcher Smith.

Smith was a maintenance engineer at Southeast Hospital from 1959-79.

Survivors include a sister, Ulva Holt of Cape Girardeau; nieces and nephews.
