CLETIS M. DITTO

EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Cletis Murrel Ditto of East Prairie will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie. James Bolden will officiate, with burial in Dogwood Cemetery.

Ditto, 81, died Tuesday, June 27, 1995, at East Prairie Nursing Center.

He was born April 27, 1914, at Pascola, son of John and Fannie LaMarr Ditto. He and Pauline Givens were married March 15, 1939, at East Prairie.

Ditto was retired from Chrysler Motor Co. He was a member of Gospel Assembly Church.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Wayne Ditto of Benton, Billy Ditto of Barlow, Ky., Jerry Ditto of Rockford, Ill., Garry Ditto of Omaha, Neb.; six daughters, Martha Pierce and Glenda Jones of Benton, LaVerne Pritchett of Houston, Texas, Freda Owens of Tamms, Ill., Debbie Hadenfeldt of Marengo, Iowa, Ellen Banks of East Prairie; a brother, Paul Ditto of East Prairie; a sister, Mary Givens of East Prairie; 17 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister and brother.
