MOREHOUSE -- Cleat Donald Vandemark, 80, of Morehouse died Sunday, Sept. 7, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Jan. 21, 1917, in Arkansas, the son of John and Ausa Eagleton Cox. On March 19, 1938, he married Janetta Othal. She died Aug. 22, 1997.
He was a farmer.
Survivors include a son, Ronald Vandemark of Morehouse; a daughter, Neva Williams of Cincinnati; a brother, Clarence Ray Vandemark of Alexandria, Va.; four sisters, Virginia Henson of Atlanta, Helen Bryant and Delcie Hudson, both of Garland, Texas, and Della Bell of Marion, Ark.; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Matthews City Cemetery in Matthews.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Sikeston is in charge of funeral arrangements.
