SIKESTON -- Clayton W. Carroll, 76, Sikeston Route 2, died Tuesday, June 2, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. He was born Sept. 12, 1916, at Charleston, son of Elijah W. and Byrdie M. Anderson Carroll. He and Zelma Strayhorn were married Dec. 24, 1940...

SIKESTON -- Clayton W. Carroll, 76, Sikeston Route 2, died Tuesday, June 2, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 12, 1916, at Charleston, son of Elijah W. and Byrdie M. Anderson Carroll. He and Zelma Strayhorn were married Dec. 24, 1940.

Carroll was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sharon Blasingame of Dexter, and three grnadchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Lowell Blasingame and Russell Rice will officiate, with burial in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
