DEXTER -- Claude W. Hubbard, 67, of Bloomfield died Saturday, May 8, 1999, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 25, 1931, at Chaffee, son of William Carl and Annie Brown Hubbard.
He lived in St. Louis a number of years where he worked at a corrugated box factory. He later lived at Scott City and moved to Bloomfield 18 years ago.
He was a member of the St. Joseph General Baptist Church at Idalia.
Survivors include a son, Claude William Hubbard Jr. of Lansing, Mich.; a brother, Frankie Hubbard of Charleston; two sisters, Myrtle McClain of Oran and Juanita Layton of Dexter; and a grandchild.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
Service will be held at Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter Tuesday, at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Gary Teel officiating. Interment will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 5 to 8 p.m.
