CLAUDE T. MCATEE

PERRYVILLE -- Claude T. "Cinna" McAtee, 80, of Perryville, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1992, at American Care Center.

He was born Dec. 6, 1912, in Perry County, son of Arthur and Anna Prevallet McAtee. He and Hester T. Moonier were married March 2, 1935.

McAtee was a retired merchant, and stitcher at International Shoe Co. He was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church, and former member of Perry County School Board.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Donald McAtee of Ste. Genevieve, Robert McAtee of Perryville; two daughters, Mickey Hoehn and Judy Duvall of Perryville; three brothers, Gerald McAtee of St. Louis, Stephen McAtee of Ventura, Calif., Bill McAtee of Oceanside, Calif.; a sister, Venita Wengert of Cape Girardeau; 16 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, eight brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Henry Grodecki will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 3-9 p.m. today, and 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. A parish wake will be held at 7 tonight.
