ORAN, Mo. -- Claude Anne Phillips, 80, of Oran died Sunday, June 24, 2018, at Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 16, 1938, in Chaffee, Missouri, to the late Jess and Elsie Ponder Phillips. She married Charles E. Sallee, and he preceded her in death March 5, 1999. She and Carl E. Mason married April 7, 1995, and he survives of the home.
Claude Anne was a self-employed beautician, later becoming a supervisor at Superior Electric. She was also a supervisor for Thorngate Ltd. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Oran.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Mason; a son, Charles (Darla) Sallee of Oran; two daughters, Crystal (Brian) Todt of Oran and Janet Warren of Scott City; three stepchildren, Sharon Hawkins of Chesterfield, Missouri, and Mark Mason and Lisa May, both of Oran; two brothers, Jess Phillips Jr. and Kenneth Phillips, both of Oran; four grandchildren, Lacie McAlister, Courtney Todt, Devan Sallee and Brittany Sallee; two stepgrandchildren, Ashton May and Tatum May; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Austin Todt and Dylan Pobst.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church in Oran.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. Tammy Hargis officiating. Burial will be private.
