RANDLES — Clarisa Ann Lancaster, 83, of Randles died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, surrounded by her family.
She was born March 16, 1925, at Kennett, Mo., daughter of James Wesley and Ethel May Davis Stewart. She has lived in Randles since 1969. She married Robert "Butch" Lancaster on July 19, 1941. He preceded her in death Dec. 18, 1999.
She and her husband owned and operated Lancaster Grocery in Randles more than 40 years.
Survivors include three sons, Robert Lee (Patricia) Lancaster of St. Louis County, Wesley Dean (Jan) Lancaster of Villa Ridge, Mo., Alan Eric (Brenda) Lancaster of Sikeston, Mo.; a daughter-in-law, Karen Lancaster of Bloomfield, Mo.; nine grandchildren, Beverly, Charles, Paul, Melissa, Larry, Aaron, James, Amy and Justin; 8 great-grandchildren, John, Olivia, Savannah, Mallory, Addison, Trent, Blake and Allyson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sons, Larry Wayne, Lesley Jean and Dennis Ray Lancaster; a granddaughter, Debra Ann Lancaster; and a sister, Flora Mae McCulley.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Mo.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Revs. Jack Owens and Larry G. Davis officiating. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery at Perkins, Mo.
