Clarence A. Myers, 80, of Sedgewickville passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011, at Woodland Hills Nursing Home in Marble Hill, Mo.
He was born April 21, 1931, in Advance, Mo., son of Daniel and Dora Scott Myers. He and Della Mae Armstrong were married May 19, 1951, in Hernandez, Miss. She passed away April 21, 2005.
Myers was a member of Scopus United Methodist Church. He was owner of Kevcon Home Care at Sedgewickville and enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling.
Survivors include two sons, Danny Myers of Fairfield, Calif., Scott Myers of Marquand, Mo.; two daughters, Patricia Ann Turner and Tina Lynn Myers of Patton, Mo.; a sister, Jellettia Green of Cape Girardeau; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Arthur Myers; and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time Tuesday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Anthony Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Cook Cemetery at Scopus, Mo.
