Clara L. Miller Seabaugh, 87, of Jackson passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born April 8, 1926, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Andrew and Anna Marie Stortz Biri. She and Otto L. Miller were married Oct. 30, 1943. He passed away Oct. 28, 1994. She married Lloyd E. Seabaugh on May 4, 1997. He passed away April 10, 2011...

Clara L. Miller Seabaugh, 87, of Jackson passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 8, 1926, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Andrew and Anna Marie Stortz Biri. She and Otto L. Miller were married Oct. 30, 1943. He passed away Oct. 28, 1994. She married Lloyd E. Seabaugh on May 4, 1997. He passed away April 10, 2011.

Clara was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson 68 years. She worked at the former Brice Variety Store, the former Jackson Hosiery Mill and 30 years at Lenco, all in Jackson. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, dancing and watching her grandchildren grow up.

Loving survivors include a son, Bill (Brenda) Miller of Marble Hill, Mo.; a daughter, Wilma (Daryl) Sanders of Jackson; four grandchildren, Kimberly Miller, Tammy (Greg) Strubberg, Laura (Larry) Motley and Wayne (Rashanda) Sanders; three stepgrandchildren, Cindy (Andrew) Jansen, Debi Anderson and Jeff (Christina) Tarble; eight great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Bob Blackwell of Fruitland.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service today at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Henrichs officiating. Interment will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the church or charity of choice.
