CLARA M. MIEDERHOFF

SIKESTON -- Clara M. Miederhoff, 82, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, July 19, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born April 27, 1912, in Kelso, daughter of Joseph and Rosa L. Gosche Buhs. She married Andrew H. Miederhoff, who died March 24, 1958.

Miederhoff was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and its Legion of Mary, and had served on the Altar Society.

Survivors include five sons, Harold Miederhoff of Columbia, Patrick Miederhoff of Highland Springs, Va., Charles Miederhoff of House Springs, Jim Miederhoff of Advance, Paul Miederhoff of Paris, Texas; two daughters, Jane Drake and Alice Towe of Sikeston; three brothers, Clarence Buhs of Garden Grove, Calif., Arthur Buhs of Millbrae, Calif., Andrew Buhs of Manchester; two sisters, Bertha Buhs and Jean Trantina of St. Louis; 18 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Thursday. The Legion of Mary Rosary will be at 7.

Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Church, with the Rev. Robert Schumacher officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
