Clara Lambky, 93, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born March 6, 1909, in Hope, Kan., daughter of Frederich August Henry and Clara Sophia Marie Schimming. She and Walter E. Lambky were married March 6, 1938, in Wichita, Kan. He died Oct. 19, 1983.
Lambky lived in Mulvane, Kan., from 1938 until moving to Cape Girardeau in 2000. She was a charter member of Faith Lutheran Church in Derby, Kan., where she taught Sunday School and was a member of Faith Circle.
Survivors include a son, Don Lambky of Irvine, Calif.; a daughter, Dottie Meyr of Cape Girardeau; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, two sisters, and five brothers.
There is no visitation.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home. The Rev. David Dissen will officiate.
A committal service will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at Mulvane Cemetery.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Faith Lutheran Church in Derby, with the Rev. Richard A. Boyer officiating.
