CHAFFEE -- Clara Gertrude Isaac, 84, of Chaffee, died Tuesday, March 21, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 13, 1910, at Commerce, daughter of Philip and Caroline Weber Strack. She and G.E. "Blue" Isaac were married Feb. 7, 1931.
Isaac retired from the lasting department at Sports Specialty Shoe Factory. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Daughters of St. Ambrose, and Ladies Auxiliary of Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Donald Isaac of Cape Girardeau, Wayne Isaac of Chaffee; two daughters, Clara Rushing of Fort Worth, Texas, Judy Isaac of DeSoto, Texas; five brothers, John Strack of Elgin, Ill., Ben Strack of St. Louis, Al Strack of Berwyn, Ill., Dennis Strack of Elm Grove, Wis., Leo Strack of San Diego, Calif.; a sister, Mary Jackson of Sikeston; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. Friday. Parish prayers will be at 6:30 p.m.
Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Ambrose Church, with the Rev. Allan Saunders officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
