CLARA CATHERINE HURST

ORAN -- Clara Catherine Hurst, 88, of Oran died at 6:40 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 30, 1906, in Biehle, daughter of Ira and Mary Krutz Hildebrand.

She married Joseph R. Hurst Nov. 11, 1929. He died Sept. 7, 1963.

She is survived by two sons, Arlen Hurst of Marble Hill and Richard Hurst of Poplar Bluff; a daughter, Shirley Vance of Oran; a sister, Stella Clifton of Crosstown; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. A Rosary service will be held at 7 tonight at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass will be conducted at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran Monday at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Fredrick Lutz. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery in Oran.
