JACKSON -- Clara Marie Bingenheimer, 87, of Jackson died Thursday, July 31, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 8, 1910, in Longtown, daughter of August and Clara Marie Meyer Ochs. She and William P. Bingenheimer were married Sept. 29, 1929. He died March 10, 1980.
The Bingenheimers moved to Jackson in 1971 from a farm near Old Appleton. She was a child care provider from 1971-82, and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a son, the Rev. Roy Bingenheimer of Cassville; three daughters, Verna Wachter and Anna Wachter of Jackson and Betty Wachter of Altenburg; a sister, Irene Ochs of Cape Girardeau; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers; a twin sister and four other sisters, and three grandchildren.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4:30-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
