CLARA B. MOORE

JACKSON -- Clara B. Moore, 64, of Jackson died Friday, March 7, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Sept. 14, 1932, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Luther Otto and Celeste Clark Tackett. She married Albert E. Moore Dec. 1, 1952 in Piggott, Ark., and he survives her.

She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church.

She is also survived by one son, Lindell Moore of Jackson; two daughters, Debra Haley and Beverly Logan, both of Jackson; three brothers, Norman Tackett of Grain Valley, Raymond Tackett of Omaha, Neb., and Chalmer Tackett of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Lillian Pender of Millersville, Alma Hall of Coleman, Texas, and Barbara Heffington of Scott City; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by one daughter and one brother.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Revs. Bradford Robinson and John E. Gourley officiating. Burial will be in Hobbs Chapel Cemetery.
