Cindy Jo Burger, 28, of Chaffee, died Monday, Aug. 23, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born Oct. 26, 1964, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of Oscar and Rosemund Fluegge Welker. On Feb. 4, 1988, she married Joe Burger. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Alison Burger; her parents of Jackson; two brothers, Ricky and Tim Welker of Jackson, and two sisters, Debbie Hartwig of Pocahontas, and Lisa Nagel of Jackson...

Cindy Jo Burger, 28, of Chaffee, died Monday, Aug. 23, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 26, 1964, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of Oscar and Rosemund Fluegge Welker. On Feb. 4, 1988, she married Joe Burger.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Alison Burger; her parents of Jackson; two brothers, Ricky and Tim Welker of Jackson, and two sisters, Debbie Hartwig of Pocahontas, and Lisa Nagel of Jackson.

She graduated from Jackson High School in 1983, and from a business college in California. She formerly worked at Meyer's Supply in Cape Girardeau and for the Mel Schmidt accounting firm in Cape Girardeau. She also performed accounting services for her father's business, Oscar Welker and Sons Trucking in Jackson. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson. The Rev. Lawrence Eatherton will officiate, with burial in Old Salem Cemetery at Millersville.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
